I saw eerew at a grocery store in Los Angeles the other day. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything.

He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?”

I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in his hands without paying.

The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you

The "ultimate weapon" Kohga was seeking was probably actually the Forbidden Construct seen in AOI. In ToTK, Kohga was just an idiot and found the wrong one, ending up with just a normal construct like Mineru's when we fought him.

This aligns very well with Kohga's bumbling personality. He likely read something about some unstoppable forbidden construct, and obviously he couldn't find it because it was destroyed, so he just assumed the one in the spirit temple was it.

In ALTTP, there is a quote from one of the maidens:

Link, because of you, I can escape from the clutches of the evil monsters. Thank you! ...Do you know the prophecy of the Great Cataclysm?

[オオイナル ワザワイ]の予言は知っていますか?私は.こうきいています。

I got curious about whether the word "Cataclysm" (Wazawai / ワザワイ) used there was actually the same word in BotW for the "Calamity", so I looked into it and found this:

https://zeldawiki.wiki/wiki/Sheikah_Language_Translations#Miscellaneous

What I found is that the Sheikah text for the Calamity Ganon Tapestry uses two words to describe the Calamity: Yakusai, and Wazawai. Both are translated on that wiki page with the kanji "厄災", but one is romanized as Yakusai a

I can't find any images of the full map from AoC, in order to compare it with the map from BotW. There are interactive maps of BotW online but none for AoC. Anyone know of any compiled screenshots (preferably at a decent enough resolution to be able to see details) of the one in AoC? The most I've seen is people overlaying the in-game minimaps over top of the BotW map, which is not what I'm after.

There are clearly new details in it, such as roads being different, or some ruins not being ruined, so it's worth having for reference, in my opinion.

Think about it. BotW was like a spiritual successor to Zelda 1. And then they released TotK, which was set about 6 years after BotW, just like Zelda 2 was set 6 years after Zelda 1.

If we follow that pattern, the next game will be the ALTTP to BotW's Zelda 1. ALTTP was a prequel to Zelda 1 and 2, starring Link and Zelda's ancestors. So this will be a prequel starring BotW Link and Zelda's ancestors, but still set very far into the future, way past the other games.

Favorite braingirls?

Better Ask Reddit

This sub is always going on about punchgirls and musclegirls. What about girls who solve things with brains rather than brawn? Curious if people have any favorites. They don't have to be a super genius or anything, just someone known for being smart, whether that's book smart, or especially clever, or whatever else.

Some of my favorites as examples: Makise Kurisu (Steins;Gate), Haibara Ai/Miyano Shiho (Detective Conan), Kyoko Kirigiri (Danganronpa)

Many people have dismissed Zelda Encyclopedia as nonsense or non-canon because of what it says about Termina. I'm not here to defend the book entirely or address any other problems people have with it, but in regards to Termina specifically, let's take a look. Here is what it says:

When a Skull Kid steals Majora's Mask from a traveling mask salesman, the combination of the Skull Kid's burdened heart and the evil magic within Majora's Mask transforms the world into the land of Termina. Termina is a parallel world with its own distinct culture, which is perhaps influenced by Majora's ancient tribe.

So far, none of this should be controversial. Let's establish a few things. For one, the wor

It was stated that Bongo Bongo was sealed away under the well, and the seal broke, allowing him to escape during Adult Link's time. It's generally assumed that the seal just weakened over time due to Ganon's influence. (I think Sheik implies as much as well.)

However, I believe Link is actually the one who releases the seal. Just like the Song of Storms and the windmill, it's a paradoxical closed time loop. First, he drains the water from the well by playing the song of storms, but that's not enough to break the seal.

However, inside the well itself, there is a contraption that's flooding the lower floors with water, and you need to play Zelda's Lullaby in order to stop it. That contra
