I set up a phone call with an admissions officer to clarify my offer letter, but she couldn't offer me a solid answer other than that the admissions committee thought I was a "better fit" for 3 years.

I have a recent Bachelor's (not in social work) and graduated May 2025. I've been a professional hairstylist for 12 years. In my application, I did mention continuing to work in a freelance or part-time capacity, but my plan was never to work full-time while also being in school. I was simply trying to acknowledge it's a balance that I'm aware of and have done before.

I applied with a 3.4, and heard back almost suspiciously quickly. Fordham is pushing hard on their website for the "Jumpstar

I'm so impressed at how this show is able to weave the ebb and flow of addiction so seamlessly into the plot structure itself. Season 6 is particularly heartbreaking because we're seeing Jackie essentially double down on her addiction being the most important thing to her, while everyone around her continues to grow, improve, and change.

The show captures how this is a multi-faceted process that touches more than one area of Jackie's life, and every single one of her relationships. No one is safe, really. She harms her children, her ex-husband, her boyfriends and flings, her friends and colleagues. She causes her coworkers to suffer moral injury on more than one occasion and its heartbreak

So last week I binged the show up until Colt’s fall and haven’t been able to return mostly because Colt is my favorite train wreck to watch. I’ve read a few posts here and it seems like he comes back and things start to get crazy, but it just seems very scripted and sort of weirdly lost its charm after that one day binge. But I need smooth brain shows right now, and Ive already watched Season 1 of Last Resort. I love 90 day but struggling to get back into the franchise because it’s kinda turned super transpartently fake in recent years. I don’t come to this show or its spin offs for true reality or sanity, I know what I’m getting into lol. But I need to be able to at least suspend my disbe

I've been lurking this subreddit for at least 2 years, been talking about starting a channel since 2022, written endless videos ideas down while constantly putting it off because I didn't have the right equipment, not enough time, etc...

I filmed a travel blog in Juneau Alaska in MAY 2024 and FIIIINALLY finished editing it (started last June, didn't pick it up again until a few weeks ago) and pushed through all the lame excuses in my head. I filmed on an old iPhone 12 mini, used a shitty lav mic from Temu (lol), bought a cheap beginners editing program (can't stand the watermarks) and finally just posted the damn thing.

I have a feeling my channel will ultimately look different from this

Hey yall. I've been a double process for the longest time. I've done ginger, pink, other fantasy colors too but for most of the past 15 years I've been a platinum double girlie and I just tone it with different colors.

I've been wanting to try a more natural blonde for awhile now. In the past I've grown out my natural and transitioned to highlights to try this, but I kind of prefer being all over blonde. Recently, I let my roots go and decided to try a base break. I put a 9/0 with 20 on my level 7 roots. They processed to a gold level 8, I toned the roots with 8N in shades and toned the ends a bit warmer. It looked great for about a month, but it's just all over warm and looking darker and

I started watching this show a few years ago but never finished it, I think I got most of the way through season 3 and then life got busy. I started a rewatch from the beginning recently and I’m about 3/4s through Season 2.

A random observation about Brenda: her music taste. I’m watching the scene where Billy is telling her their relationship is toxic after his hospitalization/being a dick to her about Nate/in general. In the background she’s playing this like, early 2000s ambient/jazz/electronica “chill beats to study to” type music. It makes me think of Moby or maybe Aphex Twin. It’s interesting to me that the music is diegetic: Brenda is playing it in her home, it’s not part of the show

Hi Ya’ll

In general: I’m pretty artistic but I really struggle with creative technology. I’ve taken classes on photoshop/video editing etc but I just find the process overwhelming and tend to get frustrated when projects become complicated. I have a lot of ideas and I feel like I need to get past this block of not being able to edit because it’s starting to prevent me from working on projects I’m excited about.

Specifically: I’m a film buff. For my birthday this year, I want to put together a little monster movie themed video show for a movie night at my house. I have a projector and want to do it kinda like a night at the theater but at home. I’m thinking starting with a quick reel of a
