Every lyric look-up tells me Scott says "You want me, you can't pay" but I just know in my heart of hearts he really says "You OWE me, you can't pay".

Please someone verify me.

Owe, pay. It fits perfectly. Please tell me I'm right.

I get the feeling from this sub that tourists aren’t welcomed by true Savannahians.

I am from Michigan, in my 50’s, am nowhere near rich, and consider Savannah the most beautiful city I’ve ever visited. I’ve been visiting once a year for about ten years, and now I’m there once a month because I have a long-term project only 1.5 hours away (I’m a PM) and I always take a day before I come back home to stay in the historic district. I love my walks in the city, taking in its beauty, wishing I could live there. My last walk, last Friday, took me from Oglethorpe to 37th by way of Bull Street and back. Once I got back to the hotel I discovered the “best of” in the side bar and was about to take a

I've been traveling there on business for three months and will continue to do so until probably February. I found a dive bar I really like called PS Tavern but after a beer I started to really get a look at the place and I saw all this Packers shit everywhere. Naturally I urinated all over the walls and left without paying.

So now I'm curious if anyone knows where I can find some friendly confines in Savannah?

(truth be told PS Tavern is a great bar and I'll happily go back, but next time I'll be sure to bring a Sharpie to let every Cheesehead who walks into the shitter know that Dan Campbell is their father)

First is historical paranormal (ghost story set in a railroad town in 1902), the second is upmarket fiction (coming of age story set in small town during the Satanic Panic in 1988). I suck at genre-fying my books because I don't write to a genre. But that's my best stab at it.

FWIW, WIP is a mafia heist set in 1970's NYC.

Anyway, I feel for the first time I'm feeling an actual urge to publish. I dabbled in trying to find an agent in the past, but it didn't go anywhere (I only subbed to 5-8 agents, I didn't expect much). I don't find the grind of spamming queries to 150 agents at a time very appealing, although I would love to be able to work with a professional to get published.

I'm on XBox and I have a pretty decent idea how to position myself so that my back is to friendlies and I'm facing the enemy. Of course, the errant flanker will come along if I stay too long and ruin my streak, but that's to be expected. Well-played, hat's off.

But when I get killed by a medic in one shot from a crazy distance or from an angle that shouldn't have been possible, and I see it's a level 500 player, I have to wonder if that's legit.

Am I being paranoid?

You tried your best. You were in over your head and underqualified for the job. But you at least had the necessary passion. I remember you pounding the podium and saying you want to win. It was obvious you were so exhausted. I can't imagine being the focal point of so much ire. But we've learned the fanbase the despondency you inherited carried over for years after your exit. I sincerely wish things could have turned out better, for all of us.

We laugh at the skit from Peyton Manning and Jeff Daniels, the attempt to lift the curse of Bobby Layne, but it did happen to come at the right time: the time when the collective fanbase was ready to leave the past in the past and move on to a brigh
