I swear I didn't dream this story, but I can't find the right combination of keywords to find on Google. Anyway, it was a blog with funny stories...maybe 10-15 year old post.

One story dealt with a colleague that was writing functions that purposefully threw up errors just so that he could align the disk to head in a particular way. He was obsessed with efficiency, I think. Anyone remember what I'm talking about?

For those of you who might care, season 4 of Black mirror is out on netflix and episode 3 has some shots from CCP HQ in Iceland

This is probably just me personally, but why would they change the UI to make unimportant things bigger and take up more space. Why are tabs so much larger now but the text within remains the same? Why is there so much empty space?

FUCK. stop fucking with what was good

I'm not sure if I'm experiencing a bug or not (I am with text misalignment on the 'Science' panel of the rover), but for some reason I can't place a landing pad anywhere on the map. I've found that it turns green if placed at the edge of the map with the arrow facing outward, but it won't let me place it.

Anyone else having this issue?

Alright, so it took me quite a while to get an understanding of this game, but now I'm totally addicted...and a bit perplexed.

I've got a large patch of land producing wheat, 6 mills, 10 bakery ovens, 10 baker's tables, and am easily able to bake bread. However, with around 16 villagers (before a 6 died to starvation) and 4 heroes (now 3), I'm finding it hard to keep up production. I've set bread to stockpile at at least 30 units and am constantly having to harvest wheat/bake bread. The villagers hardly have enough time to do anything else.

I've built 2 farms of cows, pigs, and chickens, but as I understand it, I need metal to have a kitchen stove to prepare the food. Here lies
