I'm building a new case and I've been considering integrating LED lighting into it, so I've been down the rabbit hole of LED drivers, LED controllers and RGBW LED strips.

I found out that there is a firmware called WLED for ESP32 boards, that will allow LED lighting effects based on either microphone or line input.

I was wondering if any of you eurorack nerds already used an ESP32 for this purpose and how ?

Hello dear modular enthusiasts,

One of my mates is expanding his rig and I am considering the opportunity to get his 9U 90HP desktop case to replace my current 6U 104HP skiff which would give me an additional 82HP to play with.

Here is a link to the rack: https://modulargrid.net/e/racks/view/3186553

Id probably add a decent mixer, Muxclicer and Stages to start with but still being a relative noob to modular, I am open to suggestions / thoughts / comments on any modules you would add to this particular rack and why ?

Hello all,
I've looked high and low and I cannot wrap my head around this.

I have a physical modular synth which I'm using standalone, running a.o. an Expert Sleepers ES-8 through which I'm getting 4 channels of mono audio into Ableton.

Now I would like to expand my capabilities and use the ES-8 to receive modulation and/or audio from VCV rack, all while still outputting 4 channels of external audio back into Ableton.

I'm on macOS and have Loopback running if that matters.

My modular synth can receive 2 channels of MIDI over USB, if that matters.

Could someone knowledgable please chime in and help me out ?

Thanks

Als je nog één keer naar mij klaxoneert omdat ik in een fietsstraat niet opzij ga om jou door te laten, stop ik en sla ik op uw bakkes. Het is genoeg geweest. Leer de fucking wegcode.

Just wondering how y'all take patch notes.

Because mine get messy and complicated, real fast.

I like how Monotrail presents his patches but I don't feel like using an app to keep track.

Beginner eurorack enthusiast here. I’m seeking recommendations for versatile VCO’s that sound good and don’t take a lot of width (duh!). I have like 22hp left and ideally I’d like to add at least two VCO’s without filling the rack completely. Yes, I could go on MG and search, but I’d like real life experiences. 🙏

Just wondering.

I’m just beginning and I like to keep detailed tabs on the amount of money I’ve been haemorrhaging towards this hobby, including sale of any parts leaving my setup.

I’m a couple months in and this is my summary pivot table: Modules - € 1.997 Case - € 296 Accessories - € 32 Cables - € 65

Dear Modular addicts, I've come here to seek your advice on how to proceed with my modular journey.

I'm a modest bedroom producer and I've been producing hypnotic techno and ambient style music on my computer for about 5 years now. I'm pretty well versed in most aspects of audio and music production.

Last year I was gifted a 2-tier Moog Sound Studio containing the DFAM and Mother32 and I've really been enjoying tinkering with the patch bays and all the happy accidents along the way.

A few days ago I impulsively bought a used Behringer Neutron for its patch-bay in the hopes it would extend my journey. And I found out it can be installed into a modular euro rack case.

So my plan is to buy
