My girlfriend and I are fat. Me+my stuff is 400lbs. We're sharing one vehicle and public transit sucks where we live. I'm seeing stuff that's rated for that much weight, and it will say it can do more than enough range, (we're probably only looking at 15mi one way with an ability to charge at work) but the range claims will often state that they're calibrated with a 150lb rider.
We don't need 50mph, realistically <30mph is more than fine. Is there something out there for less than $2k? Or that just the price of entry for something decent? Is it safe and reasonable to stretch the capacity of something rate to, say 330lbs?
