Is anyone familiar with this organization? They are a part of a larger Rosicrucian umbrella, but claim lineage based on a guru in the Philippines. I was excited to find the group at first, but some of their teachings seem out of step with Buddhist doctrines (most notably Atma).

In Avengers: Age of Ultron, when Thor used his lightning to jump start Vision, he wasn't just powering a machine with electricity, he was imbuing it with a literal spark of the divine. I think that's why Vision immediately emulated Thor by slightly changing his appearance and growing a cape as soon as he first saw him, why he was born worthy of wielding Mjolnir, and generally why he's such a kind, emotional, and empathetic person. Ultron didn't have that, which is why he had such disregard for the suffering and death of others, despite presumably having knowledge of every work of moral philosophy in living memory.
This is supported in Wandavision, in which the magic Vision retained the per
A few years ago I told my kids:
Q: What do you call a cow with no legs? A: Ground beef!
My daughter, instead of laughing, asked me to explain the joke (sometimes they would laugh just because they recognized the cadence of a joke, not because they understood the pun). I explained that beef comes from cows, etc. Once she understood, she was quiet for a minute and gave me this gem:
Q: What do you call a chicken with no legs? A: An egg on the ground!
I told him I've been shaving with my toothbrush.
Now I just need to figure out why my gums are bleeding.
Don't make claims that can be disproven by dictionary entries. Simply knowing the broad strokes of what you're talking about should prevent this from happening anyway.
His Holiness the Dalai Lama will transmit an Avalokiteshvara Empowerment in approximately six hours in Leh. This is the second of three days of teaching during his visit there.
I've been reading the Lankavatara Sutra, and it describes multiple different Nirvanas. Most are fairly clearly described as misunderstandings about the nature of Nirvana: total cessation of thought, an earthly utopia, etc. But there is one that is described as a spiritual attainment:
"As to the bottom of Nirvana as held by disciples and masters who still cling to the notion of an ego-self, and who try to find it by going off by themselves into solitude: their notion of Nirvana is an eternity of bliss like the bliss of the Samadhis for themselves. They recognize that the world is only a manifestation of the mind and that all discriminations are of the mind, so they forsake social relations
Rey and Ben kissed right before he died at the end of The Rise of Skywalker. Why would this result in pregnancy? Glad you asked, me.
Star Wars takes place in a Galaxy that works on principles very different from ours. We see people fall over a hundred feet without injury, meaning terminal velocity is lower on at least some planets. There's air in space (air is needed for sound to travel and for incendiary explosions to occur). There's magic. I could go on. But the relevant detail here is that in this universe, you can get pregnant from kissing. The proof: Anakin Skywalker and Padme never have sex. All you ever see them do is kiss. Therefore, in the Star Wars Galaxy, kissing is all that's n

The last complaint I feel I must touch on is, of the content released thus far from Rings Of Power, galadriel is barefoot throughout a majority of the story, however, only one or two shots even show her feet at all. As a huge fan of the Peter Jackson trilogy, I was really hoping they would include, as he did, drawn out shots of galadriel walking barefoot over rocks and other such natural objects. This is a major let down and speaks to the immaturity of this director. My only hope is that by making her barefoot but only giving less than five seconds total to experience it, they are promising moreso in the future, perhaps a scene where the hobbits and elves compare their feet, that would only
