Is this design a nono? Specifically with regards to the grain direction of the slats vs the sides.
It would be maple or oak, glued. This is just concept, not a proper plan.
Hi
Seeing lots of cheap switches now with 4 x 2.5gb and 2x 10gb
I need at least 3x 10gb + 4x 2.5gb, and it gotta be quiet
does such a thing exist?
I have an old X10SDV-4C-TLN2F, which is a mITX Xeon-D with 6 sata ports.
One of those is a yellow DOM port. I have in the past had it booting from that port, but now I'm booting from nvme.
The bios only shows 5 sata ports, and only 5 drives show up in the OS even if known working drives are connected to all 6.
I can't find an option in the bios to enable it as a data port.
Is it possible?
It is my understanding that famous buildings like the Empire State Building are trademarked and you require their approval to use commercially. Is that accurate?
If so, I am assuming they can't claim ownership of all photos of the New York skyline that include that building.
Where's the line? Is it clearly defined or just down to wether they think they would win if there was a dispute?
Hello,
Is it possible to work with video files from a Fujifilm XT-5 in Resolve (free version) on Windows?
Some things to note:
-
The files work with no issue on Resolve (also free version) on Mac
-
I paid the $0.99 for the "HEVC Video Extensions" thing, no change (still can't load the files in windows media player either)
-
The files do work in Adobe software on the PC, as well as in VLC
Setting in the camera: H.265 ALL-I 422 MOV
Codec as it shows up in VLC: MPEG-H Part2/HEVC (H.265) (hvc1)
Thanks for any help.
So many low power boards coming out with ample sata ports and 4 x 2.5 GbE. Sure great for VM's but I want a NAS. Why are they insisting on using 10GbE of bandwidth across 4 ports?
Anyone aware of a modern mITX board with >= 6 sata ports and build in 10GbE? I already have a supermicro xeon-d one but it is much more power hungry than the newer chips.
I'm aware of the popular DJI gimbals which are nice and discreet. Is there any kind of 5 axis equivalent for a camera up to A7 size that is still pretty discreet?
EDIT:
4-axis would also work
Hello
I am trying to use https://github.com/RazrFalcon/resvg
The only guides I can find is this:
https://friendlyuser.github.io/posts/tech/rust/Using_Resvg_in_Rust_A_Comprehensive_Guide/
However, even when I specifically use the older version of the crate that this guide references, it doesn't work. There's no prelude to use, and the library doesn't seem to expose the modules this guide is expecting.
Is anyone aware of any guides or example code for how to use this library?
Hi
I have this mini ESP32-S3 board and this spi oled display.
The pinout lists basically all the pins as SPI, and as far as I can tell it allows you to map the hardware SPI pins?
However with this example sketch I can't get it to work in hardware spi mode.
The Adafruit_SSD1331 driver seems to accept pin definitions mosi and sclk only in software mode. In hardware mode it accepts an instance of SPIClass instead.
