now that rumors and leaked benchmarks for gemini 4 pro are popping up, it's absolutely inhaling fable 5.1 and a bit better than astra. plus the fact other chinese open source ai labs are dropping new models every ~2 weeks that is so close to us frontier models.. like deepseek v4.1 which dropped couple days ago.. meanwhile we're here.. stuck with anthropic dropping one model every 4 months that is heavily censored and it doesn't even top the charts like it used to!

so why the fuck are we still in this religious cult of a company? i canceled both of my claude accounts 2x $20 cuz lmao one 16$ z.ai account with glm-5.3 on MAX gives me more usage than both claude accounts w

i used to juggle two plus accounts because i got tired of constantly hitting that 5-hour limit and the weekly caps were just way too low

so a couple days ago i made another account and purchased the 5x pro plan.. i'm working on the exact same project doing the same stuff, probably even less! but right after the reset i dropped from 100% down to 80% in under two hours when i first signed up for 5x it felt literally impossible to burn through limits that fast (i was using Astra Extra High both times)

feels like the usage you get after a reset is different compared to what you get on day one!?!

man i honestly dont even know what to say.. i was missing out on so much.. i used to have that dumb mindset that chinese models are okay but could never touch the quality of the big amercian ones.. but i pulled the trigger and subscribed to GLM two days ago and man.. the difference in actual daily use is huge!

1- way fewer annoying restrictions
2- and i genuinely didn't feel this supposed "hUgE pErForManCe diffEreNce" i heard everywhere
3- on top of that GLM responses are just way better and concise.. it actually gets straight to the point instead of mumbling and yapping forever like claude does

dammit even ZCode is crazy lightweight and fast on my potato PC compared to codex w

im so sick of the bs at this point no amount of resets changes the fact that this is literally the worst value for money AI out there and slow as hell too you can't even send one prompt with sol without getting hit by the 5 hour limit it takes like 2 or 3 whole 5-hr windows just to finish one simple task in my project.. and before the nerds start crying in the replies asking why i don't just use luna fvck right off with that i run heavy workloads on claude opus on ULTRA and yet i hardly hit the limit compared to the instant lockouts on chatgpt

the only thing this dogshit 20 dollar openai sub is good for is the image generator
and im sure they'll find a way to fuck that too

this model is literally unusable for my work cases I can't let him do anything without letting GPT Sol reviewing his work and each time he generates a report i give it back to Claude and then suddenly Claude discovers so many mistakes he did look i'm not a programmer i understand nothing in this but one thing for sure is that it was near impossible before then for Sol to find anything wrong in Opus work!! literally!! even when i used to make GPT review Claude would push back insisting what he implemented is in fact better but now either Opus lost his confidence which i'm sure is not or there has been some sort of nerfing to it :(
I'm having trust issues now with what Opus makes can't be su

the model with short response is too dangerous for public use it must be kept within safe official institutions hands you must trust in us this is better for you cuz you can't comprehend how powerful and scary it is

Opus 5 is actually really solid tbh like yeah it sounds a bit weird explaining its work sometimes but its way better than 4.8 let alone 4.6 i think peoples projects just got way more complex faster than ai can keep up so everyone wants better models for harder shit now

so i paid $20 for a subscription and built a simple 2D pool game using Opus 5 Ultracode then i threw the code into ChatGPT (also on Ultra) and told it to look for bugs or messy code so i could take the report back to Opus to fact check it

tell me why this thing LITERALLY burnt through 48% of my WHOLE WEEKLY LIMIT on ONE prompt!!

and then the fanboys come out of the woodwork like "well duh it's ultra what did you expect" bro SHUT UP!

"o-oh but it was ONE prompt that did a LOT of heavy lifting!!" yeah wow this is an absolute brainrot logic when you realize that Claude literally BUILT the entire game from scratch line by line without me even hitting my 5h window but ChatGPT reads
