This is hardly a side hustle, but looks like I definitely could turn it into one.

Some three years ago, our car broke down and a friend of mine was very kind to lend his company car, a brand new BMW X1. It's a compact little SUV, which is a relatively fresh addition to the BMV's family. I don't understand much about cars on a technical level, but for some reason, tinkering user profiles and getting to know the ecosystems has been my recent gimmick.

We ended up needing the X1 for a while longer, so I figured that I might get comfortable while driving it. It had some good technical ideas that turned out a bit annoying in practice (for example, the car doors seemed to lock super fast, so ofte

Seuraavana hyllyssä odottaa rKirjallisuuden kanssasuosittelijan kannustamana Mikael Karvajalka. Olen kuitenkin hieman varovainen käymään läpi pelkästään Waltarin historiallisempia teoksia, vaikka Ihmiskunnan viholliset kiinnostaa kovasti, mutta myös Fine van Brooklynin kaltaiset modernimmat teokset.

Löytyykö kanssalukijoilta Waltari-suosikkeja?

Algoritmimarkkinointi ulottuu kaikkialle, kirjallisuus mukaanlukien, jättäen jälkeensä paljon tukahtuneita tuotoksia.

Olen huomannut kohtuullisen paljon tiettyjä kirjallisuustyyppejä kuluttavana (etenkin tieteiskirjallisuutta), että vähemmän tunnettujen, uusien tai pienkustantamojen löytämien kirjailijoiden tuotoksia ei yksinkertaisesti näy missään.

Esimerkiksi skifin puolella jokainen keskustelunavaus tai booktokki tuntuu puskevan samoja tuotoksia Brandon Sandersonista Dungeon Crawler Carliin, joiss aei sinällään ole mitään vikaa, mutta uusien suosikkien löytäminen tuntuu hankalalta.

Mitä kautta vähemmän tunnetut tai tuoreet teokset löytyvät? Algoritmi tuntuu hukuttavan ne alleen, m

One of the amazing twists in Physical: Asia was the turnaround that Japan pulled in the latter quests of the competition.

Obvious spoiler for the quest on >!battle ropes, where the Japan and Australia went through the qualifying round to the final.!<

!In the first round, Australia was clearly better. In the 5 minute period, they averaged 267 beats per competitor. Japan was rather far behind, with 239 beats per competitor.!<

!This is what makes the final round turnaround so mad. !<

!Australia was visibly more gassed. In the four minute relay, they dropped from 267 beats per competitor to 241 beats per competitor. This was still faster than Japan originally.!<

!However, in the second

I love many aspects about the annual carless day, and even with the common complaints (oh no I actually saw some cars) it is always great. Especially for a keen cyclist, it really shows how much public space and freedom you could claim from motor vehicles.

And yet, I once again was surprised how silent the city became.

It's amazing how much calmer everything feels without the constant sound of motors, heavy tires and horns. One day in a year you can imagine how time before mainstreamed personal vehicles was. While there are more people and more life in a lot of public places, it's somehow always more silent. Spots like Art Loi seem even eirie, even though they are filled with folks.
