It's a shame so many people have mindlessly jumped on this "sky is falling" bandwagon. I'm glad they're tweaking Archnemesis, Harvest and the Lake, but it's nowhere near as bad as reddit is making out. This has been exaggerated beyond belief. Literally the only difference for me this league compared to any other is that I have to be more careful with currency and rolling maps, and I end up running away from a rare every 20 maps or so. Really not a big deal. Not sure what game everyone else is playing tbh.
The scarcity of some currencies makes rolling maps actually interesting. I like not being able to mindlessly roll over anything that's an inconvenience (at least until further in the league). Having to swap auras, gear or flasks to be able to run a map and save currency is something I like, reminds me of old PoE when it was actually hard to get into the highest level content.
I'm sure things can be tweaked, some content dropping nothing feels unintended, but overall for me personally I'm fine with it. (SSF perspective)
Give this a try, I'm not great with computers but this has solved the problem entirely for me:
Right click on your desktop and click "display settings" > scroll down to find "graphics settings" > click on "browse" and find Elden Ring (if you don't know where it's installed, right click on the game in steam, then properties, local files, browse, this will show the location) > once Elden Ring is added to the list click options, and make sure to pick your actual graphics card. For whatever reason it's not being utilised by default and windows immediately suspends the game.
Edit: From the feedback this does not seem to be working for everyone, sorry :(
Hello, I'm a brand new player and I love the game so far. But after seeing a few videos online I'm a bit confused about what content I do and don't have. My friend and I bought Don't Starve Together and that's all. Does this version have everything or are there DLCs I have to buy? It seems like the regular game has more of a progression and story but that's missing in DST, is that right? Do I need to buy both?
It's a shame so many people are disappointed with the changes, this is the direction I've hoped GGG would take for a long time. But to be honest, the only changes I really feel are act 1 being slightly tougher, and the flasks. Act 1 is great, looking forward to the update on all of the acts in the future, and flasks will just take some time to get used to. But overall it's still the game I've always loved. I still watched people hit level 90 and above on day one, I played the same way I always have, I really don't understand how people can say it feels like a different game. I'm guessing that in higher red maps I'll feel the damage nerf a bit more but that's exactly what I think the game nee
Hi, it's my first time trying Mirror Machine on the hardest difficulty, here is an image of the current puzzle: https://imgur.com/a/MZn1U6p
Both panes on the left side are flashing, and the eyes of the closest pane on the right side are flashing. But that's all fine, I think I've got it all right except for the noses. Maybe I'm missing something obvious but I can't figure it out. The left side is blue then yellow nose, the right side is pink then blue nose. I only have access to a blue nose and a yellow nose, neither is flashing. Is that possible?
Hey guys! So with classic just a matter of hours away at this point, I've been thinking about the way a lot of people seem to be approaching the game. I'm not one to tell anybody how they should spend their free time, but I worry that many people are setting themselves up for disappointment. These are 3 things I hope other players think about.
*1. Prepare for the worst possible launch
I could be wrong here and I honestly hope that I am! But no matter how well Blizzard prepare, there's a very good possibility that the servers are basically unplayable tomorrow, or even all week. When you finally are able to log in, you may be competing with literally hundreds of other people for the same

........... In my first playthrough I went against the Owl, killed him and got the Immortal Severance ending. I've just "finished" NG+ now where I sided with the Owl, and... it just ends? Does it really cut off THAT much of the game? Wow, I mean it's awesome how huge of a difference it is I'm just worried that new players might make that choice and think that's all there is, missing out on maybe a third of the game.
Well anyway, just wondering if anyone else had thoughts on this!
(Also would be great if someone could tell me how to type in spoilers)
