Some title bar icon menu item to turn the current application window into a Plasma wiget. The title bar would not be rendered, and instead it would have resize handles and a config screen similar to every other QLM widget config screens, where you can toggle back to a normal window.

I'd use that to display all kinds of web pages or apps as flaoting tiles that don't necessarily to to take up the whole screen.

My first instinct is to want PvE-only mode. I know a few people with limited time to play (I am one of them), who bought the game, and the mere thought of losing their stuff to random players is giving them the kind of anxiety that makes them keep their mouse cursor off the Play button.

With that said...

  • I understand the point of view that says something is lost without the PvP risk element.
  • Not to mention the possibility that some random player will end up being friendly is way better if it is an uncertain outcome VS something you take for granted in PvE only.
  • Without the threat of PvP, Embark would have to make Arcs into bullet sponges for it to remain challenging in PvE-only.

There is a shortcut in KDE applications that gives you a krunner-like UI to all the menu options an app provides. I know for sure it works in Dolphin. Unfortunately I forgot what it was and I did not see it in the Shortcuts section of the Settings (it might be there but since I don't know how it's named, I don't know what I'm looking for).

I know Krita defines it's own shortcut for this (Ctrl + Enter), probably because the default shortcut for the rest of KDE conflicts with a shortcut it's users are used to. Sadly I could not take a screenshot of it because when that actions search widget appear, none of the Spectacle screenshot utility's shortcuts work, and clicking out of it makes it disa

I'm a full stack developer who has learned about currying, partial application and point free style in Javascript by doing courses on Udemy and some YouTube tutorials and now I'm looking for real world practical applications of the techniques in Web Apps (especially if they use Ramda or lodash FP). There are a lot of good tutorials out there to learn the basics of FP but it's hard to find something that goes beyond the trivial Fibonacci sample code that I can apply in my day job.

If not tutorials, then a Github repo for a project coded that way would be great.

This extension would make it so that when you press the dash & underscore key, it will output the dash character if the last typed character is a space or a number, and if it's a letter it will output an underscore.

So programmer could create all_lowercase_variable_names without having to worry about Shift-pressing the dash key every few words, which un-necessarily slows the flow of typing. Some might think this introducing a non standard function on a keyboard breeds bad habits, but I prefer to think convenience removes irritants and can lead to productivity gains.

If anyone creates that, let me know :)

Make it so that shooting heat based damage from vehicles can melt / break the ice and sink / auto-destroy normal land vehicles standing on it. Water would always freeze back to solid ice (instantaneously) X amount of minutes after being smashed into being liquid water.

You could break it to make a bridge a choke point for land units.

Perhaps make it so that the ice on which player made bases are built is invulnerable unless the base is destroyed, which would encourage people to deploy bases / destroy enemy bases.
