Hi there can you please combine these photos to somehow get everyone looking at the camera? Please fill in the ground on the left to look more like grass. Also make my stomach look less poochy in the white and green dress. Thank you so much! $10

I love the idea of this photo but the pattern on my dress is not doing my stomach contours any favors, my baby is cranky, and I don’t love that we’re standing on mulch. Can any of these be remedied? I am not a super lean girl so nothing drastic please lol. Thank you so much, $15 !!

I worked two shifts with a patient and found out at in the last hour of my second shift that she tested positive for AFB. Infection control calls and tells me to immediately put her in the negative pressure room. Sooo I had two whole shifts of unprotected exposure. Employee health has been notified of the long list of exposed employees. I spoke with the infectious disease doctor, and he said even if I do get TB, I won’t be contagious for 4-10 weeks when the infection sets in. He said I could go home and used shared items (couch, shower, kitchen) as normal. My roommate is still skeeved out understandably. Is there anything I can do in the meantime? Should I get a PPD in a month just in case?

A confused patient strangled my coworker this week. She had to advocate for herself to leave the unit and go to the ED for an evaluation. There were visible hand marks on her neck and she was dizzy/lightheaded. I am disappointed in how management handled it, they actually asked her to float to a different busier unit to help right after it happened which pissed her off enough to throw in the towel and go to ED. Now management is very apologetic and checking up on her, etc but I’m still pissed about their initial reaction. He was a confused post op day 1 patient whose baseline is oriented and I’m sure he’d be mortified to know he did this. I don’t think my coworker will press charges because

Need to rant. If you are drowning and need help, please for the love of god, ask for help! I hate when RNs act like martyrs. Last night I walked into another patient's room because I heard the Bipap beeping and the nurse (let's call her Sarah) was mumbling out loud how no one was helping her. I asked her if there was anything I could do. Sarah said "keep an eye on him while I send these labs" and disappeared (she could have handed them to me instead right?). Pt was on Bipap, RR 50-60, in obvious distress. At that same moment the rapid response team (RRT) nurse walked by and I told her to call the intensivist. He was at bedside within 2 minutes ready to intubate. It was me, the MD, the RRT nu
