I finally can see the settings to change the safe shutdown time! It should have been in here from the original release. Just happy to finally have it!
I don't know when Autodesk added it, but it's nice to finally see they added an Estimated Cost field to the properties area. Plus it rolls properly through the BOM! I can finally quickly figure out how much my projects are costing! It's been a feature in Inventor for years! I would say thanks but it's something that should have been put in years ago.
I'm looking for suggestions on how to draw these indexing bumps so that they are triangular (chamfered?) instead of just rectangular.
Obviously there will be a mating part and they are bolted together. When loosened the two parts can be repositioned by 20 degrees. By making them triangular, I'm hoping to tighten the spacing up to get 10 or 15 degree increments.
This is just a rant. I find it very frustrating that the section views use the same hatch pattern and colors for each body. Admittedly, I previously used Inventor and it worked well. And yes, I know you can do it in a drawing but it's tedious when you just want to inspect something while designing the part.
I have a network setup like this and everything is working fine to interconnect the 3 buildings. My problem is with the UP Sense device. It is located in the Shop but always connects to the U6 Mesh in the Greenhouse which is a very poor signal strength. It's also able to connect to either U6 in the house if I move it to the house. When going to the settings in the UP Sense to try to force it to the Shop U6 Mesh, that isn't even an option in the drop down list of APs. I'm sort of at a loss as I also can't find any settings to see if I can enable the BLE.
We have a data aggregation system that collects data from various systems so the data is centralize. For example the HVAC system, pool controller, and other devices send their sensor readings to one spot.
I got a UP Sense to experiment on. It looks like I could set up a "home assist" web hook, but it only triggers on events? Isn't there a way to trigger each time the sensor takes a reading?
In Protect when viewing all the cameras in the dashboard, there is no scroll bar which makes it basically impossible to view the other tiles. However if I hit the scroll-wheel on my mouse, it will scroll (but still no scrollbar displayed). When in the timeline view, there is a scrollbar so the timeline works well.
Anyone else see this? It's just an annoyance when I'm traveling with my laptop and don't have a mouse handy.
This is a trivial question, but the Design Center doesn't display the area for the camera viewing for the G2 Reader Pro. Also when you rotate the G4 Doorbell or G4 Doorbell Pro, the view gets cropped. It's fine until it is rotated.
We have an existing Ubiquiti system (with UDM Pro) and I was asked to install a door lock system on the server room. I'm just making sure I have the right equipment:
- Access Door Hub
- Magnetic Lock
- G2 Reader
Do I need two G2 Readers, one for entry and one for exit?
Or, can I get an Access Ultra and can it run a Magnetic Lock?
My main concern is to make sure people don't get locked inside the server room!
I converted this geodesic dome greenhouse into a workshop. No doubt it's the most complicated shingling job I've ever done! No leaks!
I'm converting this geodesic dome from a greenhouse to a workshop. I'm trying to find a good insulation solution. It's all 2x4 construction but I may sister 2x3's to each strut to make the walls thicker. Batting would be a huge PIA to cut so I'm guessing cellulose, havelock wool, or spray foam.
12 years ago I did a DIY spray foam in the shed area of the walls and it was painfully expensive. I probably don't want to do that again but perhaps professional spray foam...
