I'm likely moving overseas for a few years and think I'm going to sell my 2005 V8. Almost to 190k with very little rust. I'm just trying to gauge interest for buyers here. If there's a lot of interest then I'll make another post with pics and extensive details.
Any interest?
Does anyone know if there has been research done on how video games can reveal certain behaviors of people? For example, in RPGs like Skyrim I always end up mid-maxing out of compulsion. I can't help myself. I've found that it is reflected in my personal life when I often won't take risks, or sign up for something unless I know I am prepared for what might come in the future. Any thoughts or ideas?
Trying to find the artist or song that has been removed from my playlist at some point between 2017-2018 on spotify. The only thing I remember is the album art. It's a black and white photo of a black guy in a tank top and trucker hat sitting with his body faced to the left like a school photo kind of pose. I remember the song is sort of Alt Pop. The singer has a higher pitched voice.
So sometimes Spotify takes songs off their platform without notifying me. I've been wanting to find this one song that was on a playlist of mine. I can only vaguely remember what the album art looks like. Any ideas for a subreddit that could help me find this?
I'm tired of people telling me that I need to go out on the weekends and have fun with the excuse that "you might meet someone and it's at least fun to socialize". It's not f*cking fun and there's no real socializing.
To the point of fun: bars/clubs are always hot, noisy, disgusting, overcrowded, smelly and everyone is drunk and sweaty. I'm sorry, but that isn't appealing to me at all. On top of excessive drinking not being healthy, dealing with the hang over isnt worth it either. Using partying as an excuse to drink heavily because you're unable to address your personal problems and insecurities is not my cup of tea.
"Socializing is fun". Bullsh*t. You go with a group and stand in a circ
Hey I'm LuckyScavBoi. Decided a couple weeks ago that I would start streaming in my free time for fun. I really like FPS games like CoD and Tarkov, but play other stuff like RedDead, Witcher 3, and GTA. If I have a game that you want to play then I'm down. I would like to know how to refine my stream for viewer (i.e. making sure my mic sounds good, elements, etc). But simple things really. I'm not trying to invest money into this since it'll just be a hobby for me.
As if meeting someone wasn't hard enough Corona complicates things. I (M22) just met this girl (22) on a dating app last week. She lives 2 hours away but have managed to meet 3 times now. We clearly like each other, but I feel like we (at least I) haven't been able to really relax when we're together. The first two times we met we have 4 and 3 hour long talks about mostly serious stuff. Ya know, seeing how compatible we are. Now Im looking for something we can do to have fun and really have some laughs. Any ideas for things to do? Other than hiking. We've done that lol
TLDR: ideas for dates other than hiking
Need some recommendations for a good set of whetstone's or sharpening set ups. Any idea?
My dad is about to retire and has no hobbies so I asked him if he'd want to restore an old muscle car together. He said yes but we both know next to nothing about cars, let alone restoring one. Any help?
TL;DR Met a waitress, got her number, then she denied me. I'm confused.
So I (M21) just moved to a town that a plan on living in after I graduate in a year. Right now I'm just doing an internship here. My buddy and I always go to this bar to hang out. A couple of weeks ago I met this amazing waitress (19) working for the summer. Our first encounter was less than ideal. I was ever so slightly too drunk. I didn't intend to meet her drunk but it happened. Well I asked her out and she of course said no. Well, I went back the next day with a group of other friends and saw her again. I still talked to her and she seemed a lot more receptive since I was sober. A few days later I got her number.
I shot a whole roll of Ilford HP5 400iso with my camera iso on 100. Is there anyway to salvage the film?
