After reading through several posts here, I feel silly posting this. We don't have cancer, we are not in danger of being homeless, and we do not have a sympathetic story. However, we are desperate.
###We are a Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) Baja racing team. Our team spends the entire school year designing and building an off-road race car to compete against other schools from around the world.
####There are three competitions taking place this summer. In the past, we have only been able to make it onto the roster of one competition each year. This year, we were accepted into the California competition, and wait-listed for the other two races (Kansas & Illinois).

Last Friday, I came out to my car at school to notice my bumper sitting on the asphalt in front of my car. It appeared to have been pulled off, as if by a trailer hitch getting hooked underneath it. No note was left that I could find (not surprising, as this is a University parking lot).
I immediately call my insurance company (around 5pm) to ask what to do, and they told me that it would be covered. Then, the person I spoke to told me that all I needed to do is contact an auto body shop, and gave me their number. At this point, I thought that it was all good, and that I'd just have to pay the "uninsured driver" deductible.
Today (the following Monday), I got a call from an "internal a
Ok, this is a new one to me. I'm a Mechanical Engineering major, and am not used to "easy" classes... my Mechanics of Materials teacher, while brilliant, is incredibly easy, and I just started hearing that students who aced his class are bombing Machine Design (I think that was the class I was told)... it's the second materials class I've taken. Anyone have any "tips" or study materials, or anything else that I can focus on for the rest of the semester (and summer) that will force me to actually learn the material? I know about MecMovies, and have been doing most of the problems in the Hibbler textbook along with the material we've been going over in class, but still feel like I'm lacking
I've been following this subreddit since before I had an account, and have usually been interested in what it has had to say (despite never having posted before). However, lately all the top posts have been incredibly negative.
It seems like rather than being about libertarian ideas and solutions to political problems, it has been more focused on the terrible anti-libertarian actions the US government has taken lately.
While I am as appalled by these actions as I assume the rest of you are, I would really like to see more pro-libertarian articles and posts, and fewer anti-non-libertarian posts.
Any ideas of good places to find these? I would be happy to keep up and try to post anything o
