I have several friends and family members who were planning weddings for this year but postponed due to Covid. Some are having small civil ceremonies now and still planning bigger parties for once things settle down. When is the appropriate time to send gifts? Now, when they are actually getting married, or wait for the party in a year or more?

Help please! I bought this antique wheel and have been trying to fix it up but I’m new to spinning. I can get it to take up the yarn that I was experimenting with. It twists it, but it won’t go onto the bobbin. Any ideas for what I’m doing wrong or what I need to fix?

Which actually presented an interesting opportunity to talk about consent. I got to explain to him that sometimes people don't want to be touched or kissed. And then I asked him what he should do if someone he wanted to kiss didn't want him to kiss them, to which he answered "leave them alone" (I'm so proud!). And, of course, the other way around as well - if someone tried to kiss him and he
