Sorry if this is the wrong sub, the sqlalchemy one seems to be restricted.

I am a c++ developer making my first python, flask app. and to limit the number of things I needed to learn I started off storing all my data in a global. Now that everything is working great I wanted to remove the global and use databases instead, and started getting all my classes into sqlite using flask-sqlalchemy.

the issue I am having is that I am getting join errors on one of my classes, ConfigManager. ConfigManager inherits from elementBase. elemenetBase also holds a self referential relationship, where it can hold a list of elementBases. I have another class called Asset, which also inherits from elementB

Did that scav just take 3 headshots without even blinking? Run away as fast as possible.

That scav just walk through a wall? GTFO

That scav walking towards you with half his body facing you but the other half not? GTFO

I've seen a lot of posts of players encountering a scav like this and trying to fight them rather than running away.

Scavs that are acting weird are almost always invincible and will mudernate your entire family while cheeki breeking all over your face. Your best bet is to simple turn around and run away, go to a different part of the map or just extract. its not worth it.

I use zim wiki to keep notes about projects I do. I find the wiki structure very very helpful. Sadly I am often not at home when I need to make notes, leaving me to make a note on my phone and then transcribing it when I get home.

Does anyone know of a zim wiki like program that is cross platform so i can use it both on my phone, tablet and home computer?

A little background: I have a 1600square foot ranch house. The problem is that my internet comes in from a cable that is run to a storeroom in my basement, all the other cable lines in the house are dead. Right now I have an old wifi n router in the basement with cables run to the office (also in the basement), and to 2 room on the main floor. The two rooms on the main floor are on the same side of the house. One of those cables runs to a wifi access point. The unwired side of the house is all bedrooms and

Right now my wifi signal sucks. especially in the end of my house opposite where the wifi access point is.

I can't easily run new wires.

I have a budget of $300.

Is it worth spendi

just built a new pc and I am having issues with the CPU getting too hot, hottest core gets to 92C while gaming.

I tried redoing the thermal paste thinking I may have had a bad connection, and while it looked like there were no air bubbles there was too much paste (it went off the sides). I removed the old and tried again, but my temps got worse. I used a single pea sized bead of thermal paste.

is there anything I can do for better cooling?

I listed what I can remember of my build below. I do have a 1080 but I can't remember which one I bought.

[edit] the CPU was overclocked to 3.7. the temps of 92C were after redoing the thermal paste and after an hour of gaming in a CPU intensive game.

So this happened over the weekend.

Was doing the punisher quest for killing scavs on customs and teamed up with a friend. I spawned before he did on the left side of the map at the woods spwan. I ran up into the parking lot and when I got to the dumpsters someone spawned there so I killed him... only to have my fiend say he was just killed by me.

I guess your teammate spawns at the nearest spawn to you? or maybe only if you happen to have moved to a different spawn?

I am thinking about getting into leather craft. However: I have a familial tremor which means my hands shake a little bit. Not too bad but this can make it hard to work with my hands.

Would my tremor prevent me from doing leather work? Anyone else have experience with this? How much fine work or movements are required? I would like to take the plunge and buy some tools to try it out.

Not sure if this is the right sub so sorry if this is in the wrong place.

I currently have a 3 year old gaming rig, it wasn't top of the line when I built it. The two bottle necks I have are ram and video card. The idea is to keep my gaming rig valid for a few more years so i won't have to build a new one so soon. I would like to have my current PC last another 3 years.

I currently have 6 GB (3x2GB) tri channel memory and a AMD 5830 video card.

For ram I was thinking of getting 3 more sticks of the same ram, but I noticed that my MoBo guide tells me that for Intel processors (which I have) they only allow 1 stick per channel at 1600 (which I have). I've been told that it will adjust the s

I play NC.

I started spending a lot of time in the air and I have been having a lot of fun.

For the lib, I put some certs into the bomber frame, but I've been told that the hover frame is better. What do you suggest for a frame?

Is the afterburner worth it on a lib?

what is the buldog used for? I rarely have a third gunner, and when I do they are mostly doing AA (though I have been told that the tertiary AA gun sucks) so I generally just have the default gun on.

For the reaver. What main and secondary guns do you suggest? is there any other place (besides timer) that I should spend certs early?

I am writing in C on linux, and during our calculation we get a out of memory error. We have some ideas as to what structures are taking up a lot of memory but I need a way to make sure. I know there are tools that tell you what functions are called and how many times, but are there tools that will tell you what part of your program is taking up a lot of memory?

For example if I have a large voxel calc grid, and I am unsure of how many are used, the tool would be able to tell me that so much memory is taken up by each one and there are x number of them.

So I finished off my tube of proraso shaving cream and wanted to try something new. I saw that TOBS cream, sandalwood, was recommend a lot here so I picked some up.

I like the sent and I am not having any skin problems with it, but I am having a different problem.

On my first pass, WTG, I can't get a smooth shave. The razor won't glide, it skips and bounces. XTG is fine, and I am afraid to try a ATG pass. After the shave the alum block tells me I fucked up.

I know it is the cream since I spent several shaves trying to figure out what the problem was. I went back to the proraso and had no problems, I changed to a new blade (I actually tried 3 different brands that I knew gave a good shav
