I'm using tirzepatide 2.5mg/week, split into two doses. My last two doses, I've gotten a quarter sized, slightly itchy, red patch at the injection site. The week-old one seems to be fading slightly. (I inject twice a week). No other side effects. Effects of the shot seem normal.

Does this indicate a larger problem? Any ideas what could be different? The two offending doses were both from a new vial, but it tested at the right concentration. I also used a different bac water to reconstitute than last time.

This is a very new situation to me. My husband (45M) and I (38F) have about 800k HHI evenly split, a brand new 1.7M mortgage (10k/month), 2 kids in daycare (6k/month), and almost 1M in investments (non-retirement). All told we spend about $30k/month including travel and helping family. This is an all time high for us.

My husband is advocating for a ~250k renovation on our house as soon as possible. We'd also need to rent for 6 months in our neighborhood -- say another $30k. The plan includes reconnecting separate floors in our townhouse, improving the outdoor space, and upgrading bathrooms, kitchens, and closets (all of which are admittedly lacking). We plan to stay here for at lea

I have a beautiful 5 month old baby and I want her to have a mom who loves every part of herself.

That's it. That's the whole post. You guys helped me before. So, I'm back.

I'm considering a 3 day solo trip to dive as much as I can. Considering going with Horizon for their double dip wreck dives and excited for the Spiegel Grove. A few questions for anyone who's familiar:

  • Is it possible / fun to do 4 dives a day by taking a morning and afternoon boat?

  • Will I get bored doing 12 dives on the same wrecks? Not tec certified yet.

  • Can I find an insta buddy on the boat, or do I need to pay a DM?

  • how often do boats get cancelled for weather and would I have any way to tell beforehand ... like to move my flights?

  • and finally ... on a scale of 1-10, how weird is it to wear my drysuit?! Lol

Bonus: Is there any shop in the area offering the SSI wrec

For two years, I've been carrying this Kate Spade Leila belt bag crossbody on my chest everyday. It ONLY fits my car keys, tiny wallet, phone, and chapstick, but I liked that about it. It fit close to my body without swinging, was very light, and not precious -- perfect for banging around on the playground, travel, etc.

I'm looking to change because:

  • My go to outfit is black jeans/white tee/open cardigan, but I'm admitting I often spend whole days in leggings or sweats. I feel the Kate Spade looks a little too ... preppy with sweats? I might be overthinking this.

  • I have a newborn and additionally want to fit one diaper a

My last place had grey polished concrete floors in the kitchen. My cleaner was cleaning them with a wet swiffer, and one day I noticed they were still dirty. I tried a few traditional mops and eventually bought a Bissell Crosswave and couldn't believe the mud that came out of the discard tank! I thought it was awesome.

I now have very light tiled floors, and I can see that the Crosswave, while helpful, is still barely touching the heavily soiled areas. Today I got out a bucket of hot water with a little dish soap, a stiff plastic brush, and a scrub sponge and completely changed the color of a few of my tiles -- after mopping twice. 😱

I wouldn't describe myself as a super clean-obsessed p

Dealing with partner's work travel?

Division of Labor (splitting duties with partner)

Edit: Removing the original post because I already got so much great feedback. I really appreciate all of your input. My husband and I have been through harder situations before but managed to work as a team, so I know we can get back there.

  • We're going to resume marriage counseling, which helped us a ton with communication before

  • I'm going to make sure I get an actual break after the travel, not just resuming 50/50 duties

  • We're going to throw some money at the problem too. We don't have room for an au pair and but we CAN do meal delivery, a mother's helper, or both. And yes, we'll absolutely be getting a postpartum doula. Night doulas are literal angels.

  • and finally, I lov

CW: maybe don't read this if you're feeling sick 😅 . . . So morning sickness finally hit me like a train at 7w and I'm on a steady diet of bagels, yogurt, and beans and rice. But it occurred to me as I ate my bagel with lox cream cheese this morning that I do have a weird thing I can still eat -- smoked salmon*. What can I say, my people are Eastern European Jews and fish for breakfast was my favorite thing! Last time I was pregnant, I lost 20 pounds in my first trimester from being so sick, but my favorite memory is asking my husband to bring me a full on lox bagel -- salmon, capers, raw onions and all. He really didn't believe me but I devoured the entire thing.

What's the weirdest th
