The puzzles were fun, I found the golden path and got the "good" ending. But the further I got in the game, the less sense everything made. As a game about discovery and no handholding, Tunic establishes expectations and then does not follow them, is often (unintentionally?) misleading, and at times feels like "guess what the designer intended here".

First thing that I noticed: You can't jump down. Strange, but okay. But you can fall off broken ladders. You can throw enemies into pits and down cliffs. You can move to a lower platform using a >! hookshot !<. You can sometimes even >! teleport !< downwards. You can sometimes glitch out and fall into a pit. But you cannot jump down intentional

Could someone explain what are the main concerns with face scanning at airports and border crossings? Opting out seems like a very moot point - if you are crossing the border, you already have a government-issued ID with a recent photograph (taken within the last 4-10 years, in case of US license or passport) that you have to present to the official (TSA / border patrol).

I understand not wanting facial (and gait) recognition on security cameras. I understand not wanting to be tracked online or IRL. I understand the right to communicate privately. But this particular concern with government ID eludes me.

Hi fellow DIYers!

Is it generally acceptable to keep a reed switch active/closed for prolonged time, and does it affect the switch's function?

Specifically, I have a lever with a small magnet attached. In its normal position (most of the time), the lever will be right next to the reed switch, therefore closing the reed switch (assume this is the normally-open switch). A few times a day, the lever is moved into another position, disengaging (opening) the switch.

I could move the reed switch to another position where it gets engaged only a few times a day, but out of curiosity (and convenience), I'd like to know how the switch would take prolonged exposure to the magnet.

Hi, fellow techno-necromancers!

I put together a script to aggregate all of the devices supported by popular alternative operating systems (e.g: LineageOS, postmarketOS), which could be a good reference for anyone asking "what can I do with X?"

Here they are: all devices on one page (and for easier parsing, there is a CSV file)

Is there enough interest for something like this, being updated regularly? I am open to adding more (even obscure) OSes to this list, too.
