What do you think?

Flight Training

So to begin training for my ppl I’ve talked to some schools and individual CFI’s. So I’ve come to the conclusion that it would be best for me to do my training with an individual CFI because I’ve had schools like epic flight school tell me that it would be around $38,000 for a PPL 😐 The CFI that I have talked to have really good hourly rates for instructor and plane and all plane rates are wet and they do in house maintenance. What are your opinions on it? Do you think doing my training with an individual CFI is a good option?

Any advice?

Flight Training

Hey, need a bit of advice/recommendations. So right now I’m in the military and my schedule consists of one week I am off 2 days and the following week I am off 5 days and that cycle repeats like that. So I finally have the money to begin training for my ppl and I’m about to go looking for schools that are flexible with my schedule and saw that there are schools that you can do 2 lessons a week and that would take me 4-6 months to complete my ppl if I choose to do it that way. Would you guys recommend 2 lessons a week? And also should I do pay as I go after every lesson or pay the whole fee upfront?

Hey guys, wondering if somebody could give me some Advice or any kind of suggestions or information they think can be helpful. So I am currently active duty Air Force when I get to my first base I’m going to finish getting my ppl this is all out of my own pocket and I am wondering if finishing my CCAF requirements to get my applied science associate degree and then after my contract is over to use my GI bill to go to a vocational part 141 school for my instrument rating, commercial, multi engine and CFI would be good route to go? But I was also thinking after my contract is over just use GI bill to attend a community college that has a 2 year degree program combined with flight training to

so I’m trying to attend a community college to get a 2 year degree and do instrument, commercial, multi engine, CFI training but that community college is in a state I’m not near right now. Currently doing PPL out of pocket on days I have free so don’t worry about that but is it possible to use Tuition Assistance during my 3rd year to begin online classes at that community college for my degree so I can have my degree when I get out of active duty and when I get out move to that state where that community college is located and use my GI bill to finish the flight training part????
