I know each of us are on different stages of the Blender journey. How's your exploration of this amazing software going?
I'm past the "just doing tutorials" phase and branching out into "how would I create this?" phase. Lots of tests, lots of failures, so I do try to do a 5-10 minute tutorial every week just to learn new things, see how other people accomplish tasks, learn new shortcuts, etc. But still not quite getting to a place where I have impressive enough output to share, or to have my own style. All my best pieces are _usually_ derivatives of the tutorials...but that's probably just how we learn.
My next step is to create something specific... and I'm humoring making
Feel stupid, tried quite a few things.
How can I get a one click Add button on the interface to create a new object? I'm not seeing it in Interface > Bindings and the long click doesn't work (that ChatGPT suggested). Call me lazy but moving my arm off the canvas up to Scene > Add > <object> to me should be 1/2 clicks, not 3.
Thanks for any help.
For the past few months LogiOptions+ will not start up. I have talked to Logitech support for the past 2 months and there doesn't seem to be anything that will fix the issue.
Anyone have a fix yet?
I have 3+ circles of different sizes. I want to make sure they are pixel perfect touching on their edges.
\"Not _quite_ snapped circles\"
How do I accomplish this without:
- Having to either Zoom in to try to make them close (Or overlap and then have incorrect results and messy cleanup)
- Follow a ridiculous set of tasks to try to line them all up ahead of time
- Purchase a subscription add-on like SubScribe (The idea of paying monthly for this capability is insane to me).
Are there no path snapping capabilities in Illustrator? Ultimately I'm
Hey all,
A bit at a crossroads of my learning and would love some insight. I'm pretty much a beginner and I've been using the following path / mindset:
1-2 Short Tutorials - Each time do something a LITTLE different than the instructor (can be simple like color or more complex like geometry / structure / animation path / etc. I prefer Ducky3D he's amazing.
Own Project - Try to use what I've learned to attempt my own ideas (usually comes out pretty poor but I think it's important to jump in an empty scene with an idea and see where I get stuck).
Rinse / Repeat
Definitely might be feeling a bit of that tutorial fatigue.
I'm going to continue down this path as
Cheesy title, but it so true. I look at everything differently now. It's very similar to the affects of deep meditation.
I just got a specialty coffee with milk on the bottom and espresso on top and thought about how I would render the experience of stirring the 2 liquids together. I looked at a coat hanger and thought about how I would try to model it. I looked at an old plank of wood and thought about how I might try to mimic the material. I see lighting and sunbeams differently...and see how they affect surfaces differently.
I can only imagine the absolute painstaking hours it took programmers to make a tool to mimic life...and even the imagination. I'm in awe at it's cap
Seriously.....
So often my initial upload will fail. Like 1/3 fail. Your #1 JOB is to ingest content (#2 being display). Not sure how your infrastructure is setup but you might want to look into scaling up before you make your upload request to handle the flood of uploads (if that's the issue).
I really want to like your app.

Space for AI - I'm sure there's a way to turn this off without emailing notion customer support? I've clicked through about 10 posts and don't have a clear answer. This is beyond distracting when typing. Typing a new line/header with a period and 2 spaces....brings up AI? Please fire the designer. That's insane for a word processor. Horrible. Like, ****ing stupid.
Old man rant - I'm going to have to get off notion soon....and this might be the nail in the coffin. Why does everything seem to act in an unintuitive fashion? I feel like it just needs to do what it does well, a hierarchical, tag-able note pad. And, honestly, the lack of offline is just.....
