I've been out for a year now. I've been enjoying my life, spending more time with family and friends than I did while I was in. My boss and I get along amazingly, to the point that he gave me a bonus for my hard work. I never felt this way while I was in.

I spoke to my buddy who's still in. He told me he spent hours on his PowerPoint to impress the BN XO. All she did was berate him and his writing skills, saying it reads like an 8th grader.

Why are Army Leaders so harsh on their subordinates?

I'll take a chili and mac with a Heineken, please, in a pint size.

Hello all,

I left active duty a couple of months ago. I've received a letter from HRC stating I've completed my Military Service Obligation (MSO). I signed the letter to resign my commission. What happens next?

I officially ETS out of the Army on March 11, 2025. My life has never been better. I am always with my family, so I have more time for myself and my hobbies. My boss and coworkers treat me like a human being, and I've put in the effort to make sure the objectives are met. It's been peaceful, and I never hear from my boss after hours.

The reason I was able to transition was that I was very selfish in my last year. I went to my mandatory appointments and put in no effort for the unit. I no longer gave a flying f*** about the unit. After I left, nobody has contacted me since then.

I appreciate the Army for starting my career, but I knew it was time to move on.

(It also helps that I'

As the title says, I am moving to DELCO in the Folsom area. How's the vibe out here? I am looking to explore restaurants, pubs/bars, and things to do around the area

I look forward to moving soon!

I filed my VA disabilities through the BDD process. It's currently on step 5. My EAS is in March. I feel anxious they might deny all of my claims despite my documentation. Does anyone else feel the same?

So I’m sitting at work doing my job when I get a random number calling me. It’s an LT asking me about a FLIPL I initiated a year ago. All I did was point to another person to contact and said goodbye.

I’ll take a spicy chicken cobb salad with Italian dressing and a rum and come.

Hello,

I recently left the military. I posted pictures and videos to share with family and friends. I received hateful comments from other service members and veterans. Why do we hate each other, especially once we leave?

I’ll take a kamikaze with a side of buffalo wings

Happy New Year to everybody. How am I starting my new year? Tomorrow, I will officially leave the Army. I'm looking forward to this new chapter in my life, and I'm thankful for the people and mentors I've met. I'm excited to begin a new adventure.

If anyone needs tips on transitioning out, feel free to message me successfully.

C&P exams coming up

C&P Exams :stethoscope:

Hello,

I have my C&P exams coming up next week. Any advice?

Everything I want to claim is documented on my medical records. I’ve also been prescribed medications as well for my pains, physical and mental.

I’ll keep it short: talking to a close friend and she said this: “you’ve never deployed to a combat zone, how are you so stressed out from the military?”

She claimed she has friends that deployed. The comment irked me a lot. She never joined the military. I’m looking for advices on how to respond to her comments without losing my composure.
