#About After School Formed by Pledis Entertainment in 2009, After School has been well known for its fierce beats and mature image compared to other K-Pop groups.

Its concept is similar to some Japanese groups, where members "graduate" after their stint in the group and are replaced by younger members; with the group having graduated six members (Soyoung, Bekah, Kahi, Jooyeon, Jungah, and Uee), while having five members (Raina, Nana, Lizzy, E-Young and Kaeun) inducted into it.

After School has recorded one Korean and two Japanse studio albums, eight Korean single albums, fourteen Korean singles and seven Japanese singles.

(The header image requires an update: Jooyeon, second from the left, has graduated). The current members are (header image, left to right): Jungah, Jooyeon, Uee, Raina, Nana, Lizzy, E-Young & Ka Eun.

In 2011, the two sub-units A.S. RED & A.S. BLUE released two separate singles. Orange Caramel, another sub-unit consisting of the members Raina, Nana and Lizzy, has recorded a Korean and a Japanese studio album, two Korean EPs, three Korean singles and two Japanese singles (comeback scheduled for March 12th).
