About

This subreddit is for discussion of anime meetups and convention events with fellow enthusiasts. It leans towards cons located in North America, but discussion of other cons worldwide is welcome.

Use animecons.com to find all upcoming conventions in your area.

COSPLAY: As this subreddit is about convention events in particular, cosplay posts must relate to a scheduled convention event, such as a photoshoot or masquerade. Individual or group cosplays that aren't part of a scheduled convention event will be removed. Please use r/cosplay for those instead.

Full rules are here.

Upcoming major (10k+) cons

The following is a list of conventions with a primary focus on general anime and have a historical attendance of over 10000. Comic, gaming, and other fandom cons aren't listed. Highlighted cons are supermajors with a historical attendance of over 30000 and have significant industry support.
