This is a /r/ for Artists in the Chicago and surrounding area. There is so much art happening locally... if only we had some vessel to help us navigate the local Chicago Art scene..... THIS IS IT! Wherever your artistic talent lies (Painting-Music-Photography-Writing-Etc), this is the place for you to come and share ideas, experiences, shows, tips, exhibits or discus classes, techniques, influences, etc etc. Please don't be shy.

tl;dr If you like art and live in chicago, join us.
