#####What's BootTooBig? "Roses are red" memes, among other things.

This is a place to share posts where the title sets up a joke as the first half of a poem and an image delivers the punchline as the second half.

#####Rules Posts that do not follow these rules may be removed. All images must be at least 250x250px.

Mark NSFW posts. Any post with sexual language or imagery, nudity, or gore, or excessive lewdness must be marked NSFW. Pornographic content and any sexualization of persons perceived to be under 18 are not permitted.
Follow the BootTooBig format. Put plaintext in the title or body as a setup for a screenshot or picture of text as a punchline. The title must rhyme with the text in the body.
Use good rhyme and meter. We strictly require good rhyme and meter during the week, but relax the rules for Small Boot Sunday (Saturday 6:00PM - Monday 6:00AM UTC). You may post Small Boots any day of the week on r/BootTooSmall.
No inflammatory content. Racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, bigotry, slurs, and overly edgy jokes (including rape, abuse, suicide, mass murder and terrorism, etc.) are not permitted. Any content with the intent to inflame or cause discord is also not permitted. Basically, just be kind!
No politics. Keep politically motivated content to a minimum. This is a fun sub, so political arguments and agenda pushing are not allowed. Posts may mention political figures and other celebrities as long as they are politically neutral.
Add the punchline as a comment on implied posts or crossposts. If the punchline is implied with an image only, you must include the written punchline as a top level comment. Also do this if you crosspost and use the original submission's title as part of the setup.
Avoid reposts. Avoid posts similar to any that were recently posted, among the top of all time, or that have been done to death. You will be banned for a minimum of 48 hours for posting content on the done to death list.
Follow the Reddit Content Policy. No spam, upvote manipulation, (including "mods are asleep," "upvote if," "subscribe to" or anything similar), brigading, or anything else that violates the sitewide content policy. Violating this rule will get you banned from here, and could get you suspended from Reddit as a whole.
No Roses Wednesday: Submissions submitted on Wednesday (Wed 2AM - Thur 6AM UTC) may not contain "Roses are red" anywhere in the rhyme scheme. This includes implied posts.

Final discretion on all matters is up to the moderators.

See the full rules for more information. Send us a message if you have any questions or concerns.

#####Origin

u/epicblob was inspired by this old meme and asked [this question](https://www.reddit.com/r/findareddit/comments/4vwlye/roses_are_red_memes/ ""roses are red" memes?" | r/findareddit") in r/findareddit and couldn't find anything, so they decided to make this sub.
