The most popular way to tip is in µBTC, and we just call them 'bits'. A single 'bit' is equal to 100 satoshis.

Tip it forward! 5000 bits u/changetip

How much is 5000 bits worth? Here's a couple handy calculators.

You can even tip individual satoshis with ChangeTip! Shibes, eat your hearts out!

such tip! wow! 123456 satoshis u/changetip

ChangeTip also supports targeted tipping with a simple '/u/' username mention. This means you can tip somebody who hasn't even posted in that thread yet.

If you want u/changetip to be more discreet, all you have to do is add the word 'private' to your tip:

Makin' it rain! 5000 bits u/changetip private

Now you can add your own custom tip monikers! Want to tip somebody a large dessert-like coffee, but don't see it in the list of tip amounts? No problem, just add your own. Set a name and USD price for your custom moniker, and you can send it instantly!

Right on! 1 fistbump u/changetip
