Classical Musicians: a subreddit for musicians

A community where classical musicians can discuss and share anything related to making music: performing, recording, rehearsing, practising, studying, creating music, collaborating with other musicians, working in orchestras and other musical organisations, tackling and overcoming problems with your instrument, preparing auditions, teaching music and music education in general, etc.

Let's be civilized - no hate and insults! If policing and rules are necessary, they will be added and enforced as needed.

We appreciate your love for a particular piece of music, or performance, we too love Mahler symphonies, Bach chorales or Shostakovich quartets, but we advise you to go to r/classicalmusic and share that there. Instead, in this subreddit we focus on specific issues faced by musicians in their pursuit of musical excellence ;) .
