Critical Biblical

r/CriticalBiblical

This is a "theology-free" zone for the academic discussion of the Bible, Ancient Near East, and/or Greco-Roman culture, history, religion, etc. (preferably from a historical-critical perspective). Experts and informed lay people should ask questions, start topical discussions, or present research to discuss. "Religious" opinions will be removed as "secular"/academic debate is preferred.
