Disney Parks Meet Reddit: A meet-up community for the Disney parks around the world.

r/DisneyMeetup

**Disney Meet-up** Made to relieve r/Disneyland from the occasional (and apparently annoying) meet up requests, r/DisneyMeetUp is designed to give redditors who love everything Disney to collaborate and plan meet-ups. Great for redditors who might not want to go alone, tourist groups, and even seasonal meet-up activities such as Secret Santa!

Disney Meet-up

If you would like to host a meetup message the mods with the date/time information and we'll post it in the "Future Meet-ups" section. Please, a minimum of 2 confirmed people is requested.

Updates:

Due to inactivity this subreddit has gone unmoderated for several months. With summer coming (and hopefully with a bit of marketing) we can get this community much more functional and...well, not dead.

If you post here and get the attention of several people, edit your post to include the confirmed users who are going to be there at the top of your post, preferably in bold. (e.g. Edit: user714, user562, user323). If you would like it to be advertised in the sidebar just message the mods with a link to the comment section of your post.

Be nice and have fun! We're all Disney fans here so please, no hateful comments or posts. (They will be removed.)

Safety Tips

Remember, while we are all friends here, it is possible for someone to lie on the internet so keep these tips in mind when designing a meet-up:

Meet inside the park. While it's not very common among reddit, malicious attacks can still be perpetrated through this community, but spending over $120 and meeting in a crowded public place is a great way to help eliminate that possibility.
Groups are Great. The more people who go, the more fun, and the more safe!
