The EDC Exchange

r/EDCexchange

EDC = Every Day Carry (though we like to switch it up sometimes, too). This is a place to find new gear or sell gear that’s not finding its way into your rotation. From hanks to pens, knives to wallets, EDC is all about what finds its way into your pockets, bags, etc. We’ve all been EDC’ing our whole life and maybe just didn’t know it yet. To see examples of what others are carrying, head over to r/edc!

Rules of r/EDCexchange:

1) You must possess all items you are selling/trading

2) Your post must include a Timestamp. This is a photo with the item(s) you are posting clearly on display, and the photo must include a piece of paper with your Reddit username and the posting date handwritten.

3) Title must follow the proper format!

4) Raffles aren't allowed. Cross-posting raffles aren't allowed.

5) Indicate where you are willing to ship.

Moderators hold no control over bad deals; there IS a risk in trading over the Internet.

Mods are not responsible for bad outcomes. Please report a bad trader so we can warn/flair/ban them.

Example of properly formatted title:
[WTS] [B] Ray-Ban New Wayfarer Polarized (RB4140 710/58) in Tortoise

Format the title of your post

• [WTT] = Want to trade
• [WTS] = Want to sell
• [WTB] = Want To Buy
• [Giveaway] = Just want it gone, free
• [META] = Questions, other general items that do not fit in the above categories (DO NOT post META posts without prior Mod approval!)
• [Q] = quality (although in the brackets of the title put A-D more info below)

Quality (Q) Levels:

[A] - Brand new or handled carefully out of packaging, no signs of wear

[B] - Carried for small amount of time but well cared for, no damage and very minimal signs of wear, reversible modifications - clip change, aftermarket screws, etc. if original is provided

[C] - Signs of wear, still in fully operational condition, permanent modifications have been made that do not negatively affect the functionality of the item

[D] - Signs of heavy wear

[F] - Needs restoration or is missing parts, item is non functional

Please do not give low-quality tools and such that you picked up at Walmart their own posts.

The COST OF SHIPPING

All prices must include shipping. Sender is responsible for the item(s), including all insurance/loss claims, until the item is received by the recipient. If willing to ship internationally, indicate so. If you are located outside the USA, indicate to what countries you are willing to ship.

Confirm your transactions to get flair

Here's how.

If a trade goes bad message the moderators a link to the thread, what happened, and screenshots of any private communication you and the other party had that will help you prove your case.
