A Geophyte is a perennial plant with an underground storage organ that helps to perpetuate the plant through periods of adverse conditions.

This community is meant to be an open place to exchange pictures, information, and advice on how to grow and propagate the vast array of geophytic plants that are found in cultivation.

While the community is titled Geophyte, all bulbous perennials are open for discussion including those that fall outside of the strict definition of a Geophyte.
