The bot responded to a comment on mine (on a grief thread, where a self-righteous wall of text needs not to be) so I came here to give feedback, only to discover the threads about it have been locked but also we’re not allowed to make new posts about it? Hmmm k.

Even though this post will likely be deleted, I will copy and paste my response to the bot response, as feedback:
“I did upvote…
but also, I chose to comment “THIS” to convey my understanding/agreeableness/solidarity… which is more important than fake internet points or being boosted to the top of every thread.
Annnnd now the direction of the thread is going off track because of this nonsense.”

Edit: fixed typos

As someone who is bi-polar (among a few other things), seeing the smug wanna-be language police/usage shamer just sets me off so bad. It seems like I can't scroll through a single post without seeing it and I'm getting quite angry. I understand some people like it but it drops my mood dramatically when all I want from Reddit is to take my mind off things and relax. Would blocking it solve this for me or would it still affect my Reddit use (and by extension, my mood)? It's genuinely getting stressful to me how impolite that damned thing is

Edit: I know my feelings are irrational but much like with phobias, knowing they are irrational does absolutely nothing to help them. The bot seems wel

This is a much needed service, and it’s hilarious to see people get mad when they’re called out for their worthless comments.

It’s almost always someone cursing at the bot, proving they have no couth, which was apparent when they made a brain dead comment to start with.
