"As the Internet of things advances, the very notion of a clear dividing line between reality and virtual reality becomes blurred" - Geoff Mulgan

"It is possible to build a virtual-reality generator whose repertoire includes every possible environment." - David Deutsch

"In the future we will establish radical relationships with our surrounding. The global becomes the local, everywhere is a portal to anywhere else. Leaving the notion of place... questioning its identity in a database of possible environments." - Golden Age

"Immersion is the experience of losing oneself in a fictional world. It's what happens when people are not merely informed or entertained but actually slip into a manufactured reality." - Frank Rose

"The Grid. A digital frontier. I tried to picture clusters of information as they moved through the computer. What did they look like? Ships? motorcycles? Were the circuits like freeways? I kept dreaming of a world I thought I'd never see. And then, one day..." - Kevin Flynn
