This is a hub for people who want to change things.

Online activism is often written off as pointless slacktivism, but I think that's an unfair generalization and I reject it. Organizing like-minded people in real life is important, but so is raising awareness and engaging more people who wouldn't otherwise know about important issues. More people these days are radicalized by memes than Marx.

Social media is the new mass media, and we actually have a chance to make our voice heard. It doesn't take much to contribute to big changes when it's done right. Just bookmarking some good links and being ready to use them can make a huge difference.

So go out there, keep learning and be ready to share your knowledge when you have an opportunity. And remember: you can make a difference :)
