New Russia

r/NewRussia

War threatens human survival. Help us to resist this evil! We are activists, not spectators. Our subreddit seeks to involve Russia in the global struggle against war and empire. We are not interested in cultural or nationalistic glories. We see Russia as a bastion of internationalism -- similar to America -- and look for common ground. We strive to rehumanize Russia and ourselves, nurture empathy, and deprogram people still caught up in the cult of war and death.

⌘ Russia appears to be the next target on the neo-con hit-list. A massive campaign of demonization, vilification and distortion is underway. Attempts to counter the hate are buried and censored by an army of down-voting trolls.

⌘ America too is being harmed by this war against Russia. War does not come cheap. The war against Iraq cost a million Iraqi lives, 4,500 American lives, and trillions of dollars. The planned war against Russia could end up destroying the human race. The time to resist this suicidal march to war is now.
