A subreddit for the discussion of the drug nicotine.

Nicotine can be found in many different plants and products not just cigarettes.

Discussion of nicotine chemistry, experiences, laws, health effects, nootropic properties, synergies, quitting and general nicotine banter are all indulged in in this sub.

Rules

1.Must relate to nicotine

2.Civility: Don't be a dickhead

3.No promotion of products

You may discuss products and recommend them, but you cannot blatantly promote your own product.

4.No illegal requests/underage procuring advice requests

You can discuss the laws surrounding nicotine/tobacco sales but you cannot ask for advice in breaking the law. (breaking this rule will result in a permanent ban)

5.No survey spam

No posting surveys for academic studies unless you make the post valuable in itself. Winning an amazon gift card does not make your post quality. It should contain an extensive description of your research and why you are conducting it/chose this particular subject. What is your hypothesis? Why is it important scientifically? Add a web page of your research/academic profile if possible. If this is not abided by your post will be considered spam. We will not be a free data mine for academics.

Our backup/mirror sub is here: https://saidit.net/s/Nicotine/

(If you feel like you've been censored or can't say something, make the post there instead)

Enjoy!
