If you are thinking about clean power for your home, solar is not the final destination. A residential wind turbine is a cool option for that. You can set it up on your roof and enjoy green power anytime you have wind outside. No longer need to wait for the sun for emergency power. Check out a list of the best wind turbine kits here.

I am currently camping and I got error code 67 on my ecoflow wave, and since then the compressor will not work. Error 67 isn't even described in the manual, so I don't know what it means. The fan works fine, there is just no cooling power no matter what I try. I really need it to work since there's a heat wave right now. Does anyone know what error 67 means or how I can get the compressor to start running again. Thanks.

Arrived at the off grid house today after working 2 weeks in the city, over a foot of snow on my panels and my 8 12 volt AGM 110 amp/hr battery bank was low and my samlex inverter in error condition due to low voltage. Voltage was 24.3 volts so not likely detrimental to the batteries.
I have never been away so long and never have had to deal with low battery like this - over cast sky for days, snow on the panels etc etc… outback said we only made about 600 watts of power today. (Snow was cleared yesterday)
I have had a noco genius 7200 something or other new in box for years, powered up the gent and plucked er all in… 24 hours later I’m only 50% charged and just read the manual, its only l

Are you confused about picking in between a solar and electric attic fan? An electric attic fan is, of course, the best choice if you want to cool down your attic space faster and more efficiently.
But it is a highly powerful device and so it can devour a lot of power and that will reflect in your power bills.
It is when a solar attic fan consumes no electricity as it runs on the power collected by the included solar panel. But solar electric fans are generally low-power units compared to their electric alternatives.
Hence, they may take more t
Flexible solar panels are great for use over your RVs, boats, and motorhomes.
They feature slightly bendable profiles, so it is easy to bend them up to 30 degrees to perfectly match the curved surfaces of your vehicles. But they are indeed ill-famed for their low-efficiency factor.
Why is this? Overheating? Maybe, overheating of the ultra-thin film panels looks to be a reason why flexible solar panels are not as efficient as classic solar panels.
The rigid solar panels lay on your roof a few inches off, thanks to their metal framing. It gives a chance for the heat to dissipate in between the panel and the roof. This is not possible with flexible solar panels as they are made to stay fix
