Welcome to the Ontario Works Community!

Have questions about policies, directives, or benefits? Drop a comment below, and our community will ensure your queries get answered.

I've created this subreddit to provide a space where your questions won't go unheard. Sometimes, Ontario Works caseworkers are too busy, but our community is here to help.

For detailed information, check out the Ontario Works Directives.

What are Ontario Works Directives?

Policy directives interpret the laws governing Ontario's social assistance programs: Ontario Works and the Ontario Disability Support Program. Staff follow these directives to make decisions about eligibility and benefits. They explain how the programs function, available supports, and the roles and responsibilities of both staff and clients.
