In some respects all people are alike; in other respects every person is unique. Personality psychology examines these similarities and differences. Personality refers to the set of distinctive characteristics that influence a person’s cognitions, emotions, motivations and behaviours in different areas of life. A wide range of theories of personality have been proposed, including trait models such as the Big Five, cognitive models such as Bandura’s social learning theory, and many others.

Submitting material you have created yourself is OK as long as you do so within reason and the material meets the above guidelines. Please do not submit memes or images. Submissions should contain substantive content discussing personality psychology.

Please read entire posts before voting or commenting, follow reddiquette, and leave a comment for reasoning behind a downvote.
