Power in Action

r/PowerinAction

A subreddit for discussing how power operates in our global society- but less about how that power is abused. We're not interested in corruption, because everyone knows that is bad. It's more the day-to-day workings of power that are legal but exploitative anyway.

RULES

No Ad Hominem: As a way to keep things civil while allowing for disparate points of view, ad hominem comments are not allowed. Saying: “You are stupid” will get you a warning and then a ban. Saying: “That idea is stupid because...” Is fine. This is not a safe space. Ample disagreement is to be expected when participating here. The person you are replying to may be on any side of polarizing issues and we encourage you to counter their arguments instead of replying ONLY: “well that is racist/misogynistic/misandrist/anti-choice/anti-Isreal/Capitalist/barbaric cultural practisey/pro-telegrapher/” or whichever side of these things you fall on.
