Welcome to r/royalhistory! The discussion of titled people and their stories, from the lowly nobleman to emperor. Here you'll find true tales of dazzling jewels, court scandals, war victories and brutal losses. Everything royal you love is here, whether it be praise for a favorite ruler or delicious loathing for a particularly foul one. Jump into the fray, but kindly mind the RULES:

Be respectful to your fellow poster or be removed.
Keep posts on topic - Can be anything involved with royalty BUT
Posts must deal with real history. No historical fiction.
This is not the place to argue (modern-day) politics.
