#Welcome to Serious Steam Reviews!

Steam Reviews were created with the intention of actually helping prospective gamers make informed decisions about their purchases. Instead, they've become a medium of shitposting entertainment and cheap laughs. Let's make Steam Reviews great again.

#Rules

##1. Submissions must be links to Steam reviews.

No other types of submissions will be allowed without first being approved by the moderators, with limited exceptions. Text-based submissions are for announcements, meta, or Request posts - all of which are subject to moderator review.

##2. Content should be relevant!

Any submitted reviews that place an inordinate focus on jokes, memes, and cheap laughs will be subject to removal by the mod team. This is entirely at the moderators' discretion.

##3. Don't break Reddit's rules!

Violations of the global user agreement will not be tolerated.

##4. Be civil!

Spamming, personal attacks upon, or harassment of a user will not be tolerated.

##5. Don't take credit for the work of others.

If you are submitting a review that is not your own, we strongly recommend a disclaimer be posted in the comments section. If you are a Steam Reviewer and you find that someone else has submitted your work without your expressed permission and is claiming that work as their own, contact the mods immediately (with proof) and we will remove the offending submission at once. Users caught taking credit for the work of others will be immediately and permanently banned from the subreddit.

##6. If you have to be funny, do it in the comments.

Comments will be treated with a hands-off approach unless Rules 3 and/or 4 are broken. Make your jokes there, we don't mind that.
