This subreddit is dedicated to fanfiction of the Star Trek franchise only. Here you can write about established characters, make your own stories in the Star Trek universe, try and make a new quantum reality, anything to do with Trek.

Link Flair types

If your story is set any time in the original universe, use the Original Universe link flair. They have to be set in any of the shows.
Any alternate universe of quantum reality, use the Alternate Universe link flair.
NuTrek posts, use the NuTrek flair.
If you're write your own story on an original starship or space station or planet, use the Original link flair.

Post Types

Original Stories are always welcome here and should be marked before the title as [OS] e.g. [OS] The Last Days
I'm going to be taking a hint from r/WritingPrompts and make another type of post. You can ask for stories from other authors, so post as [WP] e.g. [WP] The NX-01 Enterprise passes through a time vortex and comes into contact with Kirk's NCC-1701.
Also, if you want, you can create your own ship/planet/race/space station and make a post similar to the ones in r/ExploreFiction. Just mark it as [Scene] then a title e.g. [Scene] U.S.S. Enterprise-F. If it gets a bit, shall we say racy, that's okay. Just be sure to say that it can get racy and use the NSFW flair. Also, use the link flair to say what universe it's in.
