#Introduction:

This is a place to submit and track "suspicious" reddit accounts. An account can be suspicious for many reasons. For example, word-for-word reposts from reddit or other social media sites, a week old account making a "cake day" post, bot-like behavior or irrelevant comments, tons of link karma and no comments, or link karma that cannot be explained by a user's post history.

"Karma-whoring" alone is not a reason to post here. Also, if you notice any accounts that go beyond suspicious and are actively breaking site-wide rules or spamming, please report them using reddit.com/report.

#Rules:

hover for details

Please leave some detail in your posts, and include all relevant links. | If your post is about the subreddit, please include [META] in the title.
Be excellent to each other. | There are plenty of legitimate reasons to call these accounts out without resorting to name-calling or other less than civil behaviors.
No "brigading," mainly because it's pointless. | A one day old account with a front page post consisting of a picture of someone else's puppy that they found on google is unlikely to be swayed by a few downvotes, and they'll probably just make another account tomorrow anyway.
Do not use the u/ or /u/ format with spam accounts in the comments. | This will send a notification to the accounts. This only pertains to comments, and no notifications are sent if there are more than 3 tags in the same comment. Using the reddit.com/user/USERNAME format is okay. Why we have this rule.
No witch-hunting. | We want to focus on preventing spammers from posting spam, not harassing spammers or anyone appearing to aid them. Witch-hunting will detract from this sub's purpose.
Provide proper evidence of accounts being suspicious when requested to do so. | This rule is in place to make sure that legitimate users are not labeled as "shills".
