r/TransRacial

This is a space for those who are Diaracial*, defined as identifying with a race, ethnicity or culture that differs from their ancestry. Any and everyone identifying as Diarace/Transrace, Diaethnic/Transethnic, Transcultural or any other word with similar and different definitions are allowed here. Transracial adoptees are welcome but might be better served by r/TransracialAdoptees. *”Transracial” is no longer used, but unfortunately we cannot change the name of the subreddit.

Transracial does not yet have a concrete definition, but we would like this to be a safe space for adoptees of color and mixed race individuals struggling with their identity. Others on the margins are welcome to share their stories if coming in good faith. This is not a satire or transgender hate sub.

Please check out r/TCK for transculturalism.
