THIS COMMUNITY IS FOR THOSE WHO ARE IN FAVOR OF GUN CONTROL.

IF YOU DO NOT WANT GUN CONTROL, PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE.

This subreddit is for people who want to get news about gun control, with an aim (no pun intended) towards reducing the number of guns in the world.

If that's not in line with your line of thinking, there are plenty of other subreddits where your viewpoint is well represented and embraced. We're not here to write our cases for the supreme court. We've heard your arguments and you've heard ours. This is not the place for that kind of debate.

WARNING: If you take a confrontational or hostile attitude towards any of our community members, you will be banned.

Only attitudes of calm understanding and peaceful kindness and coexistence will be tolerated here. We're here to reduce the amount of suffering in this world. Please help in that cause.

THIS GOES FOR ANTI-GUN FOLKS TOO!! You don't win friends with salad. Or a raised voice. Or insults. If you are caught using the phrase "gun-nut" you will be banned.

Please report any violations by using the little "report" link under every comment.

**If you do not see any links listed please read this!!!**
Due to an influx of pro-gun advocates and downvote squads, most of our articles have been downvoted past the default view settings in Reddit. **To be able to see all our articles, please follow these steps:**

1) Up by your username is a link for "**preferences**"

2) Under the heading "**link options**" there is an option that says:
"don't show me sites with a score less than [4] (blank for none)"

3) Just **delete the number in the box** and hit the "**save options**" button at the bottom of the page.

If you follow these steps, you'll be able to see all the links that have been posted to this subreddit. Thanks for participating!
