/r/viet - A Community for the Vietnamese Experience

r/viet

/r/viet is a subreddit for news, information, and discussion on the Vietnamese heritage. Anything Vietnam and Vietnamese related is allowed. We welcome everyone regardless of race, gender, ethnicity, or class. However, we do appreciate the Vietnamese experience, so anyone who identifies as Vietnamese is always welcomed. Does not matter if you are full-blooded Viet, hapa, Chinese-Vietnamese, Sino-Vietnamese-American, VietAm, Vietnamese-French, or that one Vietnamese restaurant owner in Senegal.

r/viet is a subreddit for news, information, and discussion on the Vietnamese heritage. Anything Vietnam and Vietnamese related is allowed, but we strongly appreciate perspectives and posts from anyone who identifies as Vietnamese. You could be full-blooded, mixed ethnicity, and/or living in another country than Vietnam. Please read the rules and guidelines before posting or commenting. For now, moderation will be fairly hands-off until the subreddit needs restructuring.

English and Vietnamese are equally appreciated, but since Reddit is US-based, expect mostly English posts.
