####ABOUT

Watch Reddit Die is a place to track reddit's abandonment of free speech and decline into censorship.

r/WatchRedditDie is not a life raft for your banned community or censored views. It is a fire alarm for the rest of Reddit.

One of the most consistent and hardest feedback we get from ours users is the lack of transparency around removals. This is not an indication or an inditement against mods. Rather users literally have no insights into this.

~22% of all posts are removed by AutoModerator and Moderators in our large communities.

Upon closer inspection, we found that the vast majority of the removed posts were created in good faith

— Reddit Administration

r/WatchReddieDie was created in response to reddit collaborating with the German and Russian governments to censor subreddits.

#####GUIDELINES

Post here links to threads and comments on reddit that show how reddit is deviating from the open, free speech, censorship free platform it used to be.

Be civil

Treat others with basic decency. No personal attacks, shill accusations, hate-speech, flaming, baiting, trolling, witch-hunting, or unsubstantiated accusations. Racial and homophobic comments will be removed. Threats of violence will result in a ban.

No off-topic posts!

Posts should be about how admin and moderator actions stifle open conversation.

This includes highlighting hypocrisy and inconsistency in Reddit’s enforcement.

No links to other subreddits in your posts or comments Unless they are on our whitelist of subreddits that allow links from WRD

No mentions of other usernames or subreddits in posts, comments, or images - even if they are not linked!

About AutoModerator

Automoderator automatically removes URL shorteners, user pings and comments containing homophobic and racial slurs. If your comment was caught in the spam filter by accident and is not breaking any rules it will get approved.

Familiarise yourself with reddiquette.

Reddiquette is an informal expression of the values of many redditors, as written by redditors themselves. Please abide by it the best you can.

Follow Reddit Content Policy!
